Penguins of Madagascar Movie - film review
Hi
Last weekend took the daughter to see the Penguins of Madagascar movie which everyone will know is a spin off from the successful and funny Madagascar movies and a feature length outing for the Penguins who have their own series which us inventive and funny in its own right away from the main films.
It's set after the third Madagascar film as the action starts in the circus tent in the film (this is after a very funny prequel where we meet Skipper, Kowalski, and Rico as cute baby penguins who save a runaway egg - this turns out to be Private - who throughout the film feels unwanted by the other three!).
They join forces with North Wind a task force with more animals including an owl and led by a wolf called Agent Classified (voiced by Benedict Cumberbatch - he's everywhere! ) to stop an evil octopus named Dave from mutating cute penguins around the world as he has been left by humans.
Overall a very good film some laugh out loud moments and excellent CGI animation - fun for the kids and adults alike - and Madagascar fans.
Score - P p p pick up a Penguin - 8/10
