Blackpool and Waterstones

Hi Peeps

The other weekend had a night over in Blackpool, which was a good time.  Although the magic of Blackpool from the 80's and 90's has disappeared, it was still heaving.

Didn't have time to do much, but managed to visit Waterstones, as part of my UK Waterstones tour.

Sadly Blackpool Waterstones has no cafe, yet it has a great selection of books.  Especially in my favourite genre's of Fantasy, Sci-Fi, Horror and Movie Tie-ins.
There was also a full wall of Manga, which is popular with the young folk and I'll have to try one day.  Although will be weird reading backwards.
Waterstones in Blackpool was quite big too, with a good layout.

Blackpool Waterstones Score  7.5/10

Also enjoyed the beach and a Roy Chubby Brown show.  Even though he is controversial he was still funny, but at 79, it felt like Chubbys farewell/retirement tour. It wasn't as funny as the times I'd seen him in the past as most of the times he'd go off and play a video of a classic routine.

Hope to blog soon
