Stratford Upon Avon Visit!

Hi Folks!

Last weekend on a trip to Warwick Castle, my daughter and I visited Stratford Upon Avon the following day for a few hours.

Famous for being the birth place of William Shakespeare, Stratford Upon Avon was a lovely place with cafes, old buildings, including the home where William Shakespeare was born.

We even visited Stratford Upon Avon's Waterstones.  As part of my journey to visit every Waterstones in the UK I was happy with that.  A review of the Waterstones will be posted soon.

We visited a really nice cafe for afternoon tea. The buns and cakes looked amazing!

After refreshment we made our way to the canal for a boat ride.  It was fun, but for me there wasn't enough time.  Although it did take a while getting through the Locks.

We also looked around the park and were lucky enough to arrive when Stratford Upon Avon had a food market on.

I was disappointed I didn't see many book shops, especially as it's the home town of William Shakespeare.  One of the most iconic figures in literature.

I would definitely return some day though.

Look out for a Stratford Upon Avon Waterstones review coming soon.
