Spider Man - Far from Home - Film Review (Spoilers)

Hey guys

Went to see the awesome sequel to Spider Man Homecoming at the weekend.

It's probably the 100th in the MCU films and the first to deal with the after effects of the Snap in Infinity War and Endgame.

This helps show how people have moved on with people suddenly coming back after five years gone.  Plus it looks at the aftermath of Tony Stark's(Ironman) sacrifice.  This has a heavy toll on young Peter Parker (Played to perfection by Tom Holland).
So Peter obviously wants to get back to normality and focuses on his class European trip and winning the heart of MJ.

This doesn't go well when a water elemental monster attacks Venice.
Mysterio (Jake Gyllenhaal) shows up to stop it and be the hero.
Nick Fury (Samuel L Jackson) arrives to recruit Spider-Man to team up with Mysterio to stop these Elemental monsters which Mysterio claims destoyed his Earth as he claims to be from another Earth.

But all is not what it seems especially if you've read the comics and soon Spider-Man has to go against Mysterio who he thought of as a friend and keep his class mates protected.

Overall - This film packs in so much.  Action, emotion, laughs and is truly the best Spider-Man film there is.
All the actors are spot on especially Tom Holland and Jake Gyllenhaal who's charm wins the good guys over.
It is also cool once the reveal of Mysterio being a bad guy and how he's used drones and Stark tech and holograms to make him look like the hero.  Plus how he and his team are involved in earlier MCU films.

There is so much to talk about including Happy Hogan now dating hot Aunt May.

Plus there are the mid and post credit scenes which @Spoilers includes J K Simmons reprising his role as Jonah Jameson from Daily Bugle and the Sam Raimi Spider-Man Trilogy which could hopefully open up a Spiderverse film.

He shows video on the big screens of New York from Mysterio blaming Spider-Man for the attacks and claiming Peter Parker is Spider-Man!

Also Nick Fury and his partner turn into Skrulls - the shape shifting aliens from Captain Marvel and the real Nick Fury is shown resting on a Skrull ship in space.

So a lot will happen in phase four already.

Score       10/10
